On Gargon, there are no humans. Only humanoid creatures with membranous wings we’ve come to call gargoyles.
The Immortal Wars ravaged their world for longer than anyone could remember. Generations of death and devestation. Lifetimes of pain and sorrow. Once a peaceful species blessed with the power of stone. Now nothing more than brute barbarians murdering each other for land and vengeance. Under such conditions, knowledge of their ancient magic was nearly lost.
Until Murgath. Fueled by hatred and blessed by the gods, he scourged the land. Clans fell. Chieftains bowed. Blood filled the skies. Whispers of the dreaded Sky Viper spread across the three continents.
By his hand, the Immortal Wars ended. Tenuous peace held between the surviving clans. For great was their fear of Murgath the Sky Viper.
But even legends cannot live forever. And magic… is destined to return.
The Lost World of Gargon
Much of your time will be spent in Kroll, land of the Sky Viper. Towering oaks. Vast mountain ranges. Plentiful resources. And the Cursed Mountain known as the Yasiid. Plots to destroy the Sky Viper unleash disasterous consequences for the future.
Reshia is dry and harsh. Home to the southern Dunelands. But more of your time will rest to the north of the territory, near Nib’s Tear. Where an ancient magic waits for a worthy wielder.
Skog. Disgusting place, really. The swamps are a terrible place to call home. Still, we have need to visit here as well. Mysteries abound as a band of gargoyles try to survive the deadly jungle and swampland.
