Stoneblood
The Sky Viper Saga: Book I
Artist Credit: Paris Ioannou – Skybrush Workshop
Warfare raged between the eight clans of Gargon for so long, they were simply called the Immortal Wars–without beginning, and without end. Until Murgath the Sky Viper brought the entire world to its knees. After conquering the clans and finally establishing lasting peace, Murgath relinquished his power for a life of solitude with his daughter.
Dodekas later, the aged hero is thrust back into the shifting tides of power when his daughter is arrested for the assassination of the chieftain’s brother. Murgath must abandon his life of solitude to protect her before she is cast into the Void, the endless pit that descends into the dreaded Tangle. But doing so will dismantle the tenuous peace he spent a lifetime to uphold.
Fate is a force that cannot be stopped. The dormant powers of stone are returning, and with it, the means to lift the world from destruction… or to plunge it into despair.
A covenant with my readers
I will not abandon you.
As a fellow reader, I have felt the sting and agony of an unfinished series. Why should you put your trust in a new debut author? After all, is there anything worse than finding a series you absolutely love, smashing through those pages, searching for the next book, only to find…. nothing? (Except perhaps heartbreak.)
Contrary to publishing industry recommendations, I will never release a book until I have completely finished a planned series. This means it will take me longer between series releases, but you can at least rest comfortably knowing that there will be a conclusion to the world you have invested so much time and energy into.
In exchange, I ask that you review the book and tell your friends about it. Your efforts will not be forgotten.
Immerse yourself in Gargon
My goal with writing has always been to create an immersive experience into the worlds I create. As much as I enjoy the written word, there is just so much more that can be communicated with other senses: sight, sound, smell, taste. This is my invitation to dive into Gargon with as much depth as you so desire.

Murgath
Also known as Sky Viper. The most notable member of the Kroll clan. Because he is from the northern tribes, gray skin covers his body, with eyes like emeralds that pierce your very soul. Hair has never grown atop his head. Strange, but true nonetheless. He is small, especially for a man of Kroll. Yet his ferocity brought the world to its knees.

Fae
The only surviving daughter of Murgath’s family. Pale blue skin and hair white as snow sets her apart from other clansmen. Small, like her father. Though she has no taste for violence. She much prefers the companionship of her studies and research.

Sedra
Soon she will be known by a new name. A powerful name. For now, she is just Sedra. A crippled wing at birth robbed her of flight. Copper skin with patches of brown clearly mark her as a Reshian. Though the five vertical stripes on her forehead reveal her as Unclaimed. Ten horns on her head remain hidden by thick, bronze hair.

Arkli
Strange boy. Very uncommon for a Kroll to have bright red skin. Unfortunately for him, this is why he’s considered an outcast. Too many people think him to be Reshian. Black, unkempt hair and deep lavendar eyes also make for curious attributes. Though he’s terribly tall, he slouches and crouches to diminish his lanky frame.
